One Day Mini-Sessions (or the “OMG I Don’t Have My Holiday Cards Done Yet” Special)

card.jpg

Do you REALLY want to go shopping the day after Thanksgiving?  Are you starting
to panic because you don’t have you holiday cards yet?  Well, on FRIDAY
NOVEMBER 28th I will be opening the studio for Mini-Sessions.  The goal is
to get a cute image of your kiddos that we can use in a holiday card and
give as a gift for the grandparents.  Here’s the deal:  for $25 you’ll get
25 minutes of studio time on one white backdrop.  I’ll show you two images
and two  different  card designs.  You will have your cards in hand by
December 15th and in time for you to stick them in the envelope and mail
them out!  If you’re interested, give me a call at 401.486.1095 to schedule
your time slot.

The Face of an Angel

1.jpg
This little angel “F” was so adorable!  She had just learned the magic of “pointing” and was so interested in everything around her.  It was as if the whole world was before her and she was just soaking it all in!  It was great fun working with her mom and dad, and I’m glad grandma loved the images, too!

I’m looking for several maternity and newborn models for marketing materials.  Maternity models will be photographed between the 28th and 32nd week of their pregnancy.  Newborns will be photographed at less than 2 weeks old.  Models will receive a complementary session and will be compensated with portrait art.  If you or someone you know would be interested give me a call at 401.486.1095 or send an email to info@lalibertephotography.com

Baby “J” is One Year Old!

What a difference a year makes!  This is “J” at just a few weeks old:

What a handsome little guy!  Happy Birthday “J”!

Happy 4th of July!

Went to McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket to see the fireworks last night. What a great way to start the 4th of July festivities. Hope everyone has a happy and safe day!

Raindrops On Roses

Ok, so every now and then I channel Julie Andrews and start humming tunes from the Sound of Music.  Nothing like a good dose of “Do - Re - Me” to start the day!

Carousel

It wouldn’t be Spring without a trip the the Crescent Park Carousel!  My youngest was SO CLOSE to catching a ring.  I have a feeling that we will be making weekly trips until she can toss a ring into the clown’s mouth!

It’s the Simple Things…

that make me smile!  This little gal was so excited to play with bubbles.  It took a bit of patience, but she eventually was able to catch one.  How wonderful it is to see the simple joys of life through the eyes of a child.

Can you say GORGEOUS!

blog_11.jpg

Meet “G” who just happens to have the most GORGEOUS eyes!  When I look at these images, I think that this little guy fell right from the pages of a Ralph Lauren ad.  What made this session so special was that I was able to capture “G” just being himself…no props, no cheesy smiles, no primping and posing.  Now that’s a fun session!

What do you think?

As the mom of three girls, I know how influential the media can be when it comes to what is popular, hip, and cool.  The latest controversy swirls around Miley Cyrus and her Vanity Fair images shot by Annie Leibovitz.  You can view some of the images on the Vanity Fair site by clicking here

Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
